Analisis Dan Perancangan Aplikasi Perbandingan Operator Edge Detection Pada Suatu Citra
Abstract
Edge detection is one of the methods that are used in digital image processing that serves to identify lines / edges of the image object to highlight infromation lines of the image boundary. There are several kinds of edge detection operator that can be used to detect the outline of an image. The author conducted this study using a comparison operator Prewitt, Sobel, Robert, isotropic, Laplace, Robinson and Kirsch. Form of research is the study of literature, and the research method used is the method of experimental research.While the software design method used is prototype method, this system design using the Flowchart as software design tools.The results of the research IS software can perform edge detection lines on a digital image. Software testing method used is the Blackbox. THEĀ most preeminent operator in terms of the speed of the process is the operator of the isotropic, because the operator isotropic able to detect the outline of the digital image in high resolution, medium and low more quickly, while in terms of the results of edge detection operator kirsch became the operator of the most superior, Because edge detection produced by the operator kirsch more accurate, more detailed and brighter, so that the operator kirsch is very suitable for the detection of digital image quality (resolution) of high, medium and low to get the optimal edge.
